Accounts Manager

Accounting and Bookkeeping -

• General Ledger Maintenance: accurate recording of all financial transactions in the general ledger.
• Journal Entries: preparation and posting of journal entries to ensure accurate accounts.
• Accounts Payable and Receivable: management of accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes, including vendor payments
• Bank Reconciliation: regular reconciliation of all bank accounts to ensure accurate and up to-date records.
• Bad Debt Provisioning: Customer outstanding reports at intervals. Ensuring that provisions for bad debts are made in accordance with the company's credit policies with Management's approval
• Currency Management: Oversee currency exchange transactions and ensure accounting of proper exchange fluctuation entries - Preparation of Import creditors statement as per books.
• Customs Duties and Tariffs: Payments online, Ensure proper accounting for customs duties, taxes, and tariffs on imported goods.

Remuneration to Staff and Directors

• Preparation of Pay roll statement, TDS calculations, Profession Tax payments,HO and Branches, PF & ESI statement to consultant and online payment, Disbursement of salary and send monthly pay slips. Preparation of Gross remuneration, for individual tax calculation Preparation of offer statements and Annual Increment statements
• Disbursement of Incentives and Travel Reimbursements.
• Disbursement of Directors Remuneration / TAX PAYMENT

Taxation and Compliance

• Tax Filing and Reporting: timely and accurate filing of all taxes (e.g.,GST, PROFESSION TAX, TAX ON SALARY AND ADVANCE TAX PAYMENTS ) in accordance with Center and State tax regulations. Filing of Quarterly TDS returns
• Inventory Management: Proper accounting for inventory, stock valuation / reconciliation and submission of stock statement to Bank
• Annual Physical Stock taking, Work with other departments to maintain and ensure that inventory is accurately accounted for, in financial statements.

Management Reporting

• Financial Reporting: Preparation of monthly financial statements ( PROFIT AND LOSS ACCOUNT )

Team Management and Leadership

• Staff Supervision: Manage the accounting team ensuring their roles are clearly defined and goals are met.
• Audit Coordination: Coordinate for audit requirements, ensuring that auditors have the required documentation and information for efficient auditing processes.
• Accounting Software: implementation, maintenance, and optimization of accounting software and systems - "TALLY"
• Automation and Process Improvement: Work to automate repetitive tasks and implement process improvements within the accounting function.
• Data Integrity and Security: Ensure that financial data is accurate, secure, and properly backed up.
• Financial Documentation: Ensure proper documentation of all financial transactions, contracts, and accounting records to maintain transparency and compliance
• Thorough knowledge of statutory requirements
• Should be capable of fulfilling statutory obligations independently
• Should have experience in handling a team
• Should be proficient in Tally, MS Office, Payroll Management
• Knowledge of other accounting software will be an added advantage
