Safety, Health & Environment - Vaccine Business

Role & responsibilities:

• Lead ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 management certifications effectively and comply with all statutory requirements related to PCB, Factories.

• Ensure the safety SOPs are effectively implemented at the shop floor level
• Have continuous vigilance in the production blocks and identify unsafe acts & unsafe conditions
• Ensure smooth training is being conducted on the assigned SOPs related to Safety, Health and Environment
• Initiate and organize SHE training sessions for executives and casual workforce on a weekly basis
• Inspect premises and the work of personnel to identify issues or non-conformity viz., any deviation from the approved SHE procedures
• Assist in recording and investigating the incidents or accidents to determine actual root causes
• Conduct periodic inspections, Safety audits of the safety standards at least once in a month and work towards the corrective actions closure.
• Ensure that all the annexures, HIRA & EIA related to the IMS procedures are periodically filed and are up to date
• Establish monitoring frameworks and capture cumulative footprints of energy, waste, water and air quality
• Coordinate and assist in conducting the Mock drills and safety committee meetings
• Stop and immediately report any unsafe acts or processes that seem dangerous or unhealthy
• Assist and coordinate in smooth conduct of NSD, WED, Road safety and Electrical safety week campaigns and celebrations
• Ensure that Safety Work Permit System is religiously deployed as applicable

Preferred candidate profile

Should have through knowledge on Safety Health & Environment legislations/laws Govt. of India & State Govt.

Should have excellent communication and soft skills.
