SCM - Strategic Sourcing For CDMO Business | Manager/Sr. Manager

Preferred candidate profile:

Post Graduate in Science , B Pharm /M.S(Pharma ) , B Tech etc. having 10~15 years of relevant work experience in pharmaceuticals industry working in Sourcing function taking lead on procurement of API, Raw material, Excipient, Consumable items in any Large scale Organization having multiple manufacturing units supplying Drug Substance/Drug products across the globe .

Preference will be given to candidate having experience in handling CMO/CDMO projects dealing with external collaborator .

Knowledge on GMP as applicable on sourcing function and working in Plant environment is essential.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Researching/Identifying Potential Vendors for Bulk drugs, Drug Formulation related project (RnD Stage)
• Negotiating prices with Vendors and Vendor Qualification for supply to regulated market
• Co-ordination with vendor on quality documents, information , reports etc. required both during R&D and commercial stage .
• Monitoring the Inventory Levels and Control at Labs to ensure material availability w.r.t assigned projects .
• Collaborating with Manufacturing team and Management for planning, Forecasting and Procurement efficiently
• Overseeing and supporting all procurement pertaining to R&D & Commercial production
• Maintaining appropriate documents and storing of documents and retrieval of all procurement related files for compliance & internal audit
• Designing and maintaining department budgets and keep control on Material price variance
• To ensure that company standard practices, procedure and legal requirements are complied with.
• Ability to lead team.
• Define and adherence to SLAs/KPIs and generating periodic MIS report
• Experienced in qualitative & quantitative market research (IMS, New Port, EXIM data) and understanding the market dynamics & IP scenario for selection of new products
• Responsible for the timely availability of materials for Research and Development projects by placing the purchase orders on time and coordinating with logistics for Import clearance, material pickups and deliveries
• Coordinating with Project Management team and other CFTs to arrange the samples of materials required for initial evaluation.
• Responsible for maintaining up to date supplier status with regard to prices, creation, review & signing the CDAs, quality agreements with Vendors by closely coordinating with the internal Legal team.
• Responsible for arranging vendor qualification documents for APIs / Excipients to comply with changing regulatory/GMP requirements from suppliers/Manufacturers
• Responsible for supporting Quality Assurance, Quality Control, and Regulatory Affair teams for required vendor related documents, material/vendor/product approvals, and addressing any regulatory deficiencies.

Additional Required Skills:

Working experience in SAP system (HANA Platform) and willing to travel in connection with the job requirement .

Proficient in MS Excel, MS Word, MS Power point,

The position require to attend virtual calls with vendors / External agencies / Customer /Collaborator at different time zone .
