Bimaplan - Software Development Engineer II - Node.js/React.js (3-6 yrs)

What We are Looking For :

Bimaplan is looking for full-stack engineers with significant experience in the JavaScript stack (Node.js and React). You'll work directly with the CXO, Director Of Engineering and Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineers, designers, and managers to identify and understand user needs and pain points, and work towards effective solutions. Responsibilities :

- Understanding customer requirements and project KPIs

- Own and deliver end-to-end design, development, and testing of features and services.

- Have the technical skill to review, verify, and validate the software code developed in the project.

- Planning the team structure, activities, and involvement in project management activities.

- Managing stakeholders and external interfaces

- Coordination and communication within the team and with customers

- A track record of building scalable, fault-tolerant client and server-side code for web-based applications, creating fast, easy-to-use, high volume production applications, and developing prototypes.

- Experience building highly available and performant applications in any major programming language (e.g. Node.js, Go, Javascript)

- Contribute to all aspects of an agile software development lifecycle including design, architecture, development, documentation, testing and operations.

- Manage individual project priorities, deadlines and deliverables.

- Continuously evolve development practices and operational maturity through structured root cause analysis and monitoring.

Qualifications :

- 3+ years of experience in developing end-to-end modern web applications

- Proficient in software engineering best practices, algorithms, OOPS, design patterns and problem solving.

- Experience in designing and developing REST APIs

- Demonstrated ability to share knowledge via formal mentoring, reviewing code, reviewing and contributing to system design

- Experience working across a range of frontend and backend technologies using NodeJS, ReactJS, Typescript, NoSQL and AWS/Firebase.

- Experience designing database schemas with MongoDB, and Postgres.

- Develop highly responsive and user-friendly web applications using React.js, MUI, Formik, Redux, and other relevant third-party libraries.

- You are a good communicator who can explain technical concepts to product managers, designers, support and other engineers

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent required

Nice To Have :

- Good understanding in AWS, Next.js, Nest.js and Typescript

- Worked in a early-stage startup environment

- Good understanding of scalable coding patterns

- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies

- Experience with testing frameworks such as Jest
