US Payroll Analyst

Job Responsibilities:

US payroll specialist to be responsible for all payroll-related tasks. In this role, your responsibilities will include collecting and reviewing employee information and working hours, calculating wages, preparing and processing employee payments, and maintaining accurate payroll records.

Payroll Specialist Responsibilities:

• Collecting timesheet data and payroll information.
• Entering data into payroll and administrative databases and ADP.
• Preparing and processing paychecks and cash deposits.
• Maintaining accurate records of payroll documentation and transactions.
• Responding to payroll-related inquiries and resolving concerns.
• Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll issues or concerns.
• On-boarding the new hires on payroll software (ADP).
• Preparing master DATA weekly, Bi-weekly, semi-monthly & monthly.
• Checking tax deductions, i.e., federal taxes, state taxes, FICA and Medicare, etc.
• Managing 4O1k deductions.
• Extracting data from the E-time system using canned ADP reports.
• Perform various data/security audits as needed.
• Payroll preview and processing weekly payroll.
• Creating off-cycle payments to employees as a result of termination pay.
• Manage general deductions including garnishment, benefit deductions/refunds.
• Manage overpayments made to employees.
• Calculation of state disability income insurance.
• Managing off-boarding process after termination of hires.

• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• High numerical aptitude.
• Detail-oriented.
