Visa Consultant/Team Manager

Role & responsibilities

• Team Leadership:
• Supervise and mentor the visa operations team, ensuring effective workflow and productivity.
• Conduct regular training and development sessions to enhance team skills and knowledge.
• Process Management:
• Oversee the end-to-end visa application process, ensuring consistency and adherence to protocols.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices.
• Client Interaction:
• Serve as the primary point of contact for travel agents and clients regarding visa queries and concerns.
• Maintain positive relationships with clients, addressing their needs effectively and promptly.
• Quality Control:
• Ensure the accuracy and completeness of visa applications and documentation.
• Review and verify all submissions to minimize errors and rejections.
• Reporting:
• Prepare and present regular performance reports to management, highlighting team achievements and challenges.
• Analyze metrics and KPIs to assess team performance and operational efficiency.
• Compliance & Regulations:
• Stay updated on visa regulations and policies of various countries.
• Ensure team compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.
• Crisis Management:
• Handle escalated issues and complications efficiently, providing timely solutions.
• Develop contingency plans for operational challenges.

Preferred candidate profile

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Travel & Tourism, or a related field.
• Experience:
• Minimum 5-10 years of experience in visa operations.
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience is preferred.
• Skills:
• Strong understanding of visa requirements and processes for multiple countries.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in problem-solving and conflict resolution.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Familiarity with visa software and management systems.
