Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Knowledge Product Costing,Variance Analysis,knowledge of Budgeting , Forecasting,Costing MIS Preparation.

Knowledge of Software Skill, Advance Excel, SAP .

Duties and Responsibilities:

The Costing Manager is responsible to supervise , track and evaluate day to day activities related to costing . He should be able categorize based on Customer,Verticals, Product Families & Constraints.

He should be able to use BCG Matrix for cost control and decision making to decide parts

• To ask operations to Prioritize
• Which Parts to Eliminate.
• To Coordinate with Engineering to improve throughput.
• To Increase the Price.
• Revise the rates based on commodity fluctuations.
• Ask Sales & Marketing to increase the share of Business.
• Create a benchmark, Asstt. Finance and Purchase on Consolidated, Commodity based Budgeting
• Develop and maintain the cost accounting system, documents, and Cost records of the organization.
• Analyze and recommend costs and cost savings.
• Prepare and complete internal cost audits.
• Comply with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) for financial statements and Cost Accounting Principals.
• Analyze manufacturing costs and prepare regular reports comparing standard costs to actual production costs.
• Make estimates of new and proposed product costs (Request for Quotation), Revised MHR Annually/Half Yearly and Quarterly
• Provide management with reports that specify and compare factors that affect prices and profitability of products.
• Conduct physical inventories and Valuation.
• Revenue and expenditure variance analysis, Reconcile Cost Accounting and Financial Accounting.
• Capital assets reconciliations
• Coordinate and complete annual Cost audits
• Improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions
• Assign projects and direct staff to ensure compliance and accuracy
• Meet Cost accounting objectives.
