Job Description
BharatCares is seeking an Associate Manager for CSR and Climate Projects to join our team in Ahmedabad. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in handling climate resilience-building projects and will play a pivotal role in driving our sustainability and CSR initiatives.
Responsibilities
1. Project Management:
- Lead and manage climate resilience building projects from conception to completion.
- Develop and implement project plans, timelines, and budgets.
- Monitor and evaluate project progress, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and stakeholder expectations.
2. CSR Initiatives:
- Design and execute CSR programs focused on climate sustainability.
- Collaborate with various stakeholders, including NGOs, community groups, and corporate partners, to enhance the impact of CSR activities.
3. Stakeholder Engagement:
- Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including local communities, government agencies, and donors.
- Organize and facilitate meetings, workshops, and events to promote project objectives and outcomes.
4. Research and Analysis:
- Conduct research on climate resilience and sustainability trends.
- Analyze data to measure the effectiveness of projects and prepare detailed reports for stakeholders.
5. Compliance and Reporting:
- Ensure all projects comply with relevant regulations and standards.
- Prepare and submit comprehensive reports on project activities, outcomes, and financials.
1. Educational Background:
- Master s degree in Science, Sustainability, or related areas.
2. Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in managing climate resilience building projects.
3. Skills:
- Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and engage with diverse stakeholders.
- Open for extensive field work
- Good with writing reports and documents
- Clear and systematic thinking that demonstrates good judgement, expert problem-solving, and creativity
- Proven operational and management capabilities
- Excellent project management skills
- Pro-active and self-initiator
