Material Inventory Controller

Job Summary:

The Material Inventory Controller will be responsible for developing and executing inventory management plans, Production Planning and Material Controller coordinating production schedules, and ensuring timely and cost-effective material procurement. The role requires strong analytical skills, proficiency in ERP systems, and a strong understanding of Power BI for data analysis and reporting.

Inventory Management:

• Develop and implement inventory management plans to meet production schedules and customer demands.
• Monitor inventory levels, identify potential shortages or surpluses, and initiate timely replenishment actions.
• Optimize stock levels to minimize holding costs and ensure timely availability of materials.
• Manage and track inventory data within the ERP system.
• Maintaining accurate records of inventory, including quantities, locations, and costs.

Production Planning:

• Analyze production requirements, forecast material needs, and create production schedules.
• Collaborate with production teams to ensure smooth and efficient production processes.
• Identify and address potential bottlenecks or disruptions in the production process.
• Monitor production performance and identify areas for improvement.

Material Controller :

• Coordinate with production teams to ensure timely delivery of materials to the production floor.
• Coordinate with manufacturing, warehouse, and procurement teams to ensure smooth operations.
• Identify and report any inventory problems or discrepancies, and recommend solutions.
• Coordinate with logistics, suppliers, and other departments to ensure on-time deliveries and accurate stocks

Data Analysis and Reporting:

• Utilize Power BI to analyze inventory data, identify trends, and generate reports.
• Develop and maintain dashboards to track key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Present data-driven insights and recommendations to management.

Continuous Improvement:

• Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to optimize material flow and production processes.
• Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and trends in inventory management and production planning.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• 10 to 12 years of experience in material planning, inventory management, and production planning.
• Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, etc.).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with Power BI or other data visualization tools.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of inventory management principles and practices.
• Experience in a manufacturing or production environment is a plus.
