About the Job:
- We are looking for an experienced and strategic Associate Director - Operations to lead and enhance our teacher operations.
- This role is critical in ensuring a smooth onboarding process for students, minimizing wait times for classes, and driving operational excellence across teacher sourcing, hiring, training, and retention.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Teacher Sourcing and Hiring:
- Develop scalable and effective strategies for sourcing and hiring teachers.
- Utilize diverse global channels to attract top teaching talent, ensuring compliance with local laws.
Teacher Retention and Engagement:
- Design and implement programs to boost teacher satisfaction and reduce attrition.
- Establish clear career growth paths, training opportunities, and incentive structures.
- Build and maintain a robust teacher relationship management framework for continuous engagement.
Financial Modeling and Operational Efficiency:
- Develop pay-per-hour compensation models aligned with company margins.
- Optimize student-to-teacher ratios for quality and profitability.
- Monitor metrics like teacher utilization and retention, and forecast teacher-hour requirements based on enrollment trends.
Team Leadership:
- Lead and mentor senior managers across teams, including hiring, training, quality assurance, relationship management, and teacher hour management.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and innovation within the team.
Global Expansion:
- Expand international teacher hiring channels while ensuring legal compliance.
- Utilize data and market insights to align teacher supply operations with the company's growth strategy.
Skills and Qualifications Required
- Proven experience in operational management, preferably in education or related industries.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with a history of mentoring senior managers.
- Expertise in teacher sourcing, hiring, training, and retention strategies.
