Beeu Infotech - Oracle Database Administrator (6-9 yrs)

Job Description :

- Individual should be Graduate in IT or Science background with a minimum of 4-5 years of relevant experience working in a 24/7 environment.

- The Oracle DBA is responsible for installation and technical configuration of the Oracle databases in multiple environments. The Oracle DBA provides systems and database administration for the Oracle Technical environments, and applies necessary patches and upgrades, managing backups for the environment.

- Must have good knowledge on Oracle Architecture, conduct complex ORACLE database systems technical reviews to improve performance, resource utilization and integrity.

- Provide Oracle Technical support for the Project

- Investigate and resolve problems arising in all aspects of the ORACLE environment.

- Investigate, and provide solutions to, technical issues concerning the management and utilization of ORACLE software products.

- Liase and manage client's satisfaction on technical issues related to Oracle Database.

- Good understanding of Oracle administration 12C/19C in single instance / RAC environment

- Managing & Trouble shooting issues in RAC/Single instance environment.

- Oracle Patching (PSU& CPU) in RAC/Single instance environment

- Strong knowledge and experience on Database Cloning /Data refresh from one environment to other

Mandatory Technical Skills :

- Good understanding of Oracle administration on 12C/19C environment on :

1. Creation of Database/Schema

2. Granting required privileges

3. Checking various logs like alert log / listener.log.

4. RMAN backup and recovery concepts - Duplicate, Clone, hot, cold and archive log backup concepts

5. Good in ASM (Automatic Storage Management)

6. Pre-checks for adding Diskgroup

7. Creation of Diskgroup.

8. Mount and Dismount of Diskgroup.

- Worked on DataGaurd (Physical Standby Database) and Data guard configuration.

- Achieve log management

- Knowledge of troubleshooting and performance related issues.

- Taking AWR report

- Analyzing the AWR

- Partitioning of tables

- Database Compression

- TKPROF

- Knowledge on patching / Migration (OPATCH,EXPDP,IMPDP)

- AIX / UNIX Operating System and its facilities & Knowledge on Shell scripting

Experience & Educational Qualification :

- Minimum of 4 to 5 Years of Large Oracle Database Administration on 11g/12C/19C

- Must be a Graduate

- Must have Oracle DBA Certification on 11g/12C/19C
