Job Role :

ServiceNow FSM / SPM Implementation Specialist

Key Responsibilities :

Requirement Gathering & Analysis :

- Work with stakeholders to understand business processes and specific requirements related to Field Service Management and Strategic Portfolio Management.

- Define and document functional and technical requirements for FSM and SPM implementation.

ServiceNow FSM and SPM Configuration :

- Implement and configure ServiceNow FSM to optimize the management of field service tasks, resources, and scheduling.

- Set up and configure modules within ServiceNow for managing the portfolio, project, and resource management aspects of SPM.

- Customize workflows, approval processes, and automation for both FSM and SPM.

System Integration :

- Integrate ServiceNow FSM and SPM modules with existing systems, such as HR systems, ERP, and CRM.

- Leverage ServiceNow IntegrationHub or REST APIs to connect with external platforms or services as needed.

Data Migration & Import :

- Assist in the migration of legacy data into ServiceNow, ensuring that all relevant data for FSM and SPM processes is accurate and complete.

- Perform data mapping, extraction, and transformation activities.

Testing and Quality Assurance :

- Develop and execute test plans to ensure that configurations are working as expected.

- Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) for both FSM and SPM and resolve issues identified during testing.

User Training and Support :

- Create training materials and conduct sessions to educate end-users on how to use the new FSM and SPM functionalities.

- Provide post-implementation support and troubleshooting for any issues that arise.

Reporting & Analytics :

- Configure dashboards and reports in ServiceNow for FSM operations (e.g., technician performance, incident resolution times) and SPM (e.g., project status, portfolio health).

- Provide recommendations for improvements based on the data and reporting insights.

Continuous Improvement & Optimization :

- Identify and recommend areas for improvement in FSM and SPM processes based on feedback from users and stakeholders.

- Ensure the ServiceNow platform evolves to meet the changing business needs.

Collaboration :

- Work closely with business analysts, project managers, and technical teams to ensure alignment and smooth execution of the implementation.

- Provide guidance and support to junior team members or developers.

Key Skills & Qualifications :

ServiceNow Expertise :

- Hands-on experience with ServiceNow FSM and SPM modules, including configuration and customization.

- Familiarity with ServiceNow ITSM modules, as they often interact with FSM and SPM processes.

Business Process Knowledge :

- Deep understanding of field service management processes such as scheduling, dispatching, inventory management, and technician tracking.

- Familiarity with project portfolio management, resource planning, and project delivery methodologies.

Technical Skills :

- Proficiency in ServiceNow scripting (JavaScript, Business Rules, UI Actions, etc.) and integration tools.

- Experience with ServiceNow's Integration Hub, REST APIs, and other integration methods.

Project Management :

- Strong understanding of project management principles and best practices, especially for SPM and portfolio management.

- Familiarity with agile methodologies and sprint-based project delivery is beneficial.

Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills :

- Strong analytical skills to gather requirements, troubleshoot issues, and optimize configurations.

- Ability to analyze and leverage ServiceNow's reporting capabilities to deliver business insights.

Certifications :

- ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) - Field Service Management (FSM).

- ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) - Portfolio Management (SPM).

- ITIL Foundation certification (optional, but beneficial).
