Junior Travel Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with employees / higher management to determine their travel needs and advise them of appropriate routings, modes of transportation, travel dates, costs and accommodations after consulting with the travel agent.
• Handle enquiry from start to end i.e. taking travel information, coordinating with respective suppliers / vendors, sharing with passengers, getting appropriate approvals for the same & once confirmed handle booking arrangements till guest is back.
• Maintain tour budgets / prepare tour budgets
• Providing travel arrangements for employees for their travel.
• Providing visa & immigration service by ensuring completion of all relevant visa documentation on time.
• Updating database for tracking all visa cases while ensuring accuracy and authenticity of information & legal documents of the applicant.
• Close coordination with travel agent, forex agent and insurance company.
• Assisting top management in booking their travel tickets, hotel bookings and providing FOREX services.
• Establish travel request guidelines, approval processes, and policy compliance measures, considering business needs and cost factors at different approval levels.
• Managing and processing all travel-related documentation, including payments, itineraries, visas, medical, and legal forms.

Requirements and skills:*

• Any Graduate
• Proven work experience as a Travel Agent
• Excellent knowledge of computer reservations systems, and e-travelling
• Fluency in English; multilingualism is a plus
• Commercial Terms awareness
• Ability to interact, communicate and negotiate effectively
• Have atleast 2 years of experience in ticketing or worked as a travel coordinator.
• Research various travel options to provide recommendations to the employees / higher management about where to visit, stay & travel.
• Added advantage for IATA certified candidate.
• Knowledge of travel management process and should be aware of recent travel and Visa trends.
