Senior Manager/Chief Manager - IT Procurement (9-12 yrs)

Note - Experience in Data Centre is must.

Job Details :

- Understand the requirement from user function and evaluate multiple available solution in market.

- Compare available goods with industry trends to determine appropriate pricing.

- Finalize vendor and cost through RFP process, in view of user requirement and techno-commercial evaluation.

- Support User and Legal function for contract execution from SCM prospective.

- Handle T&M related requirement and contract closure with agencies based on user's requirement and techno-commercial evaluation.

- Review existing contracts related to IT services/ AMCs and T&M manpower and maintain tracker & repository.

- Cost saving through existing contract negotiation with partner/ agencies.

- Raise need of the agreement (as per contracting guideline) well in time and ensure renewal before expiry.

- Engage with user functions to understand the needs and resolve pain points related to purchase and other aspects.

- Co-ordinate with Operations to ensure vendor PO issuance and payment on time.

- Regular coordination with vendors to ensure timely delivery of ordered products/ services.

- Support in data analysis for preparing the monthly procurement reports.

- Stay up to date on industry trends and new products

- Manage vendor partnerships to ensure products and services are provided with competitive pricing and in a timely manner.

- Planning & maintaining budget for IT related requirements and keep control on expenses in view of approved budget.

Experience :

- At least 9-12 yrs. of strong experience in IT Hardware & Services related procurement, T&M Manpower related closures and contract negotiation.

- Functional expertise and hands-on experience in Procurement of IT solutions (Networking/ Storage/ Securities/ Data center/ Infra etc.)

- Knowledge of procurement practices and procurement governance.

- Experience in collecting and analyzing the procurement data.

Education :

- MBA/ B-tech or equal qualifications

- Ability to manage time effectively in a high paced dynamic environment and capable to prioritizing work load to meet scheduling demands and timelines
