Please find below the JD for the role of Sr. Associate/ Assistant Manager Indian Treasury Role:

The Sr. Associate / Assistant Manager will oversee the organization's treasury operations, ensuring effective liquidity management, investment strategies, risk management, and efficient use of financial resources. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage all the banking and FEMA regulations.

Core Accounting Roles & Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee Treasury department across India.
• Monitor excess cash and maximize the return on investments in compliance with the company's investment policies.
• Manage daily cash balances and trading in financial investments.
• Improve and streamline treasury processes.
• Train, guide, and evaluate the treasury department with all the compliances applicable.
• Comply with all company, local, state, and federal accounting, and financial regulations. For example, Banking, RBI, FEMA & Forex market etc.
• Collaborate with the accounting team and contribute to financial audits.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field or MBA preferred.
• 6 to 10 years of experience in treasury management, corporate finance, or related roles.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and procedures
• Experience with accounting software, data entry, and financial analysis.
• Ability to manage and lead a team.
• Knowledge of relevant regulations and compliance standards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
• Exposure to forex market will be added advantage.
