Job Title: Sales Manager - Chemicals & Polymer
Location: Lagos, Nigeria
Role Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager to join our esteemed client, a reputable name in the chemical and polymer distribution industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales of products such as IPA, Toluene, Ethyl Acetate, HDPE, PVC, and Petroleum Jelly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve and exceed revenue targets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with target companies, including Relchem, Tegatta, Eurochemco, and Samking.
- Identify new business opportunities and expand the client base within the region.
- Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery and excellent customer service.
- Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and market insights for management review.
Requirements:
- Proven track record in sales, particularly in the chemicals, polymers, or related industries.
- Strong network within the target companies or similar sectors is highly desirable.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently to achieve targets.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, competitive environment.
