Video Specialist (AI/Motion Graphics & Animation)

What You'll Do

As a Hybrid Motion Designer within the Design Studios team, you will be part of a larger Global team in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment and act as a strong contributor in leading high-impact video projects. You will partner with key stakeholders to ensure compliance with BCG and Design Studios quality standards.

You will leverage your expertise in visual storytelling, motion graphics, video editing, and advanced visualization skills to develop engaging and innovative ideas that align with client objectives and bring their vision to life. You will be responsible for executing complex video editing, motion graphics animation projects, and illustrations for storyboarding, transforming business concepts and processes into compelling visual narratives.

You should have excellent communication skills as you will participate in creative briefs, pitch innovative concepts, present illustrations for animation-ready graphics, and discuss ideas with internal clients. You will bring a creative edge to every project by designing unique motion graphics templates and producing a variety of video formats, including corporate presentations, training modules, explainer videos, product showcases, and promotional campaigns. You should be adept at creating a story from business needs and translating that into a compelling video.

You will collaborate with your fellow members of the Video Motion-Graphic team to create 2D/3D motion graphics, animation, and full-scale production of animation for the client.

Key Responsibilities Include:

- Develop and design motion graphics, illustrations, storyboards, and mood boards aligned with project goals.
- Translate complex business ideas into engaging visual stories using motion design and AI tools.
- Utilize Generative AI tools (e.g., DALL-E, Adobe Firefly, ChatGPT, RunwayML) to enhance asset creation and storytelling.
- Oversee end-to-end video production, including script supervision, filming, editing, and sound design.
- Create scalable motion design templates for corporate videos, campaigns, and promos.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to align creative outputs with business objectives and brand guidelines.
- Lead on-ground production, including camera operations, lighting, and stakeholder interviews.
- Mentor team members, fostering creativity and innovation within the team.

What You'll Bring

• A bachelor's or similar degree in film or video production or animation (design school preferred).
  • At least two to four years of relevant experience in a professional services environment, design start-up, or design agency.
  • Expertise in leveraging Generative AI tools for creative production.
  • A strong portfolio showcasing your motion design, illustration, storyboarding, and video production skills.
  • Excellent English language skills; other languages may be requested in certain locations.

Technical Expertise
- Mastery of Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects, Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator).
- Proficiency in Generative AI tools for ideation, asset creation, and production enhancement.
- Strong understanding of animation principles, video editing, and compositing techniques.
- Experience in 3d motion graphics and software such as Cinema 4D, Blender, or Maya is an added advantage.

Production Management
- Managing on-ground filming logistics, including camera operations, lighting setups, and sound recording.
- Directing stakeholder interviews and aligning production elements with project objectives.
- Planning and executing production workflows to meet timelines and budgets.
- Expertise in managing complex production workflows, including scheduling, resource allocation, and aligning deliverables with timelines and budgets.

Collaboration & Communication
- Working closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to align creative outputs with business goals.
- Communicating ideas effectively through pitches, mock-ups, and creative briefs.
- Guiding junior team members and inspiring a culture of innovation.
- Expertise in managing complex production workflows, including scheduling, resource allocation, and aligning deliverables with timelines and budgets.
