Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Oracle Database Administrator to join our team. In this role, you will manage, maintain, and optimize our Oracle database systems, ensuring data integrity, security, and performance. Your expertise will be crucial in implementing best practices for database management, troubleshooting issues, and supporting our data-driven initiatives. Join us and play a key role in our data infrastructure.

Required Skills:

1.Database Administration:

The AgileOps DBA should have a strong understanding of database administration principles and practices. This includes tasks such as database installation, configuration, backup and restore, performance tuning, and security management."5 - 10 years

2.Agile and Lean-Agile Knowledge:

The AgileOps DBA should be familiar with Agile and Lean-Agile principles and practices. This includes understanding the Agile mindset, participating in Agile ceremonies, and working collaboratively with Agile teams.

3.DevOps Practices:

The AgileOps DBA should have knowledge of DevOps practices and be able to work closely with development teams to ensure smooth integration and deployment of database changes. This includes automating database deployments, implementing continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines, and collaborating with developers to address database-related issues.

4.Infrastructure and Cloud Knowledge:

The AgileOps DBA should have a good understanding of infrastructure and cloud technologies. This includes knowledge of virtualization, containerization, cloud platforms (such as AWS or Azure), and infrastructure-as-code (IaC) practices."5 - 10 years

5.Problem-Solving and Troubleshooting:

The AgileOps DBA should possess strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. They should be able to identify and resolve database-related issues quickly and efficiently, working closely with the development and operations teams.

6.Collaboration and Communication:

The AgileOps DBA should have excellent collaboration and communication skills. They should be able to work effectively with cross-functional teams, communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, and actively participate in Agile ceremonies and discussions."5-10 years
