Java Developer (Environment Support)

• Development Support: Provide basic support for Java-based applications and resolve minor issues as directed.
  
• Web Server & Java Heap Monitoring: Learn and assist in the setup and configuration of web servers (basic knowledge expected), including monitoring Java Heap size for optimal application performance.
  
• Database Troubleshooting: Gain experience in database-related troubleshooting and issue resolution with guidance from senior team members.
  
• Java Development: Work on basic Java 8-related tasks under supervision and continue to grow technical skills in Java development.
  
• API Management: Begin learning and supporting the setup and management of RESTful APIs and other related development tasks.
  
• Code Coverage Tools: Gain experience in using and understanding code coverage tools, ensuring the quality of code across development cycles.
  
• Communication: Communicate effectively within the team and with clients, though confidence in technical discussions will be developed over time.
  
• Use Case Analysis: Collaborate with team members to analyse use cases and assist in the approach to resolve complex issues with guidance.

Required Qualifications:

• Basic Knowledge in Java 8: Familiarity with Java 8 features and basic development practices.
  
• Limited Support Experience: Some experience in support roles, but limited exposure to web server setup, heap monitoring, and DB troubleshooting.
  
• Basic Understanding of APIs: No prior experience with REST APIs, but willingness to learn and contribute.
  
• Communication Skills: Good communication skills but may lack confidence when answering technical questions.
  
• Analytical Thinking: Ability to understand use cases, but approach to analysis and problem-solving is still in development.

Desired Skills:

• Web Server & Monitoring Tools: Willingness to learn the setup quickly and management of web servers and use of monitoring tools.
  
• Database Knowledge: Basic knowledge of database systems with a keen interest in learning how to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
