The Radiology R&D SW India Hub Lead is responsible for:
Drive India Hub set-up and further development to ensure the R&D SW India Hubs readiness and success, in close collaboration with relevant R&D teams as well as commercial and support functions.
Overseeing all aspects of the Hub development from conceptualization, design, hiring, and launch to stabilization, ensuring seamless execution, and in including collaborations with external partners.
As key member of the R&D Software Leadership team, driving strategic and operational aspects of software development for Radiology.
YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Leadership and Strategy Execution: Act as the VACC leader for the R&D SW India Hub, aligning with the R&D SW strategy and leadership team, and conceptualize and execute the setup and continuous improvement of the hub.
Talent Development and Alignment: Hire, train, and coach new talent in line with the Radiology R&D strategy, ensuring alignment with team goals and development strategies.
Financial and Resource Management: Operate within the financial framework, optimizing R&D software spend, and ensure resource availability by managing talent strategies and budgets effectively.
Program Delivery and Risk Management: Ensure timely delivery of programs within budget and quality standards, proactively managing risks and holding team members accountable for committed timelines and budgets.
Team Performance and Collaboration: Set individual and team objectives, assess performance, maintain motivation, foster trust and transparency, and provide regular feedback while encouraging continuous improvement and collaboration
WHO YOU ARE:
Bachelor s degree in or Engineering with a minimum of 12 years of experience in software industry with minimum 2-3 years of experience in medical device development
Additional experience of working in India in last 5 years with added experience of excellent understanding of local vendor & talent market.
Knowledgeable in one or more areas of product development, including hardware and software.
Proven entrepreneurial mindset and courage to constantly challenge ways of working and status quo, strives for continuous improvement.

Excellent presentation and communication skills (fluent in business English, knowledge of Hindi will be desirable but not mandatory)
