Role Overview
As a Scrum Master at NestorBird, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our Agile teams operate efficiently, deliver value, and continuously improve. You will facilitate Scrum ceremonies, remove impediments, and guide teams in adhering to Agile principles and best practices.
Key Responsibilities
1. Agile Leadership
Act as a servant leader to Agile teams, fostering an environment of collaboration and trust.
Ensure adherence to Scrum framework and Agile principles.
2. Facilitation and Coordination
Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies, including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
Collaborate with Product Owners to ensure a clear and prioritized backlog.
3. Team Empowerment
Coach team members on Agile practices and encourage a culture of self-organization.
Identify and address team dynamics to ensure productivity and harmony.
4. Impediment Removal
Proactively identify and resolve impediments to the team s progress.
Escalate unresolved issues to relevant stakeholders when necessary.
5. Metrics and Reporting
Track and communicate key Agile metrics, such as velocity and burn-down charts.
Use data to identify opportunities for team improvements.
6. Stakeholder Engagement
Collaborate with stakeholders to align team efforts with organizational goals.
Ensure transparency and effective communication across all levels of the organization.
Qualifications and Skills
Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience as a Scrum Master in Agile environments.
Certification: Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent Agile certifications are required.
Agile Knowledge: Deep understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban) and principles.
Facilitation Skills: Strong skills in facilitating discussions, conflict resolution, and decision-making.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Problem-Solving: Ability to identify root causes and effectively address challenges.
Tools: Proficiency with Agile tools like Jira, Trello, or Azure DevOps.
Leadership: Demonstrated ability to inspire, mentor, and empower teams.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working in a scaled Agile framework (SAFe, LeSS).
