Zonal Head - Logistics Industry (10-15 yrs)

Strategic (Collaborative role)

- Design and deploy the strategy for the Zone in consultation with the senior management

- Understand the market trends and provide inputs to the management on WSG value proposition and offerings to prospective clients

Financial (Direct ownership)

- Manage P&L responsibility of the Zone; delivery AOP as budgeted; mange budget, resource allocation and schedules

- Manage the Zone operations profitably and meet EBITA targets

- Track, analyze and report financial MIS on a regular basis - provide updates during zonal reviews

Operational (Direct ownership)

- Ensure clear definition of scope, goals, deliverables, project tasks, resource requirements and SLAs for all support functions

- Coordinate with business development managers for market penetration, acquiring potential business and closing the deals

- Ensure compliance and adherence to agreed SLAs with clients

- Ensure thorough resolutions of shortages in the Zone and strategize to minimize shortage cases

- Ensure adherence and implementation of standardized operating procedures in the Zone

- Ensue profitability of the zones and business development in all the Areas

- Ensure minimum risk and security leakages in the Zone; work towards making the assigned Zone secure and free of risk-based losses

- Facilitate analysis and innovative solutioning to operational issues in the Zone for e.g. suggesting expansion, resource re-distribution, technological intervention etc.
