Job Profile

Barry Callebaut Digital (BC Digital) is on a mission to lead the digital revolution in the chocolate industry, and were looking for a Digital Asset Management Lead to support this transformative journey. Reporting directly to Head of ITSM Standards and Tools, you will be responsible for the IT asset and license management of all platforms and applications as part of the Service Management team. In addition, you are responsible for the review and optimization of our asset and license landscape. You will maintain and monitor assent and license inventories for our platforms and applications services and ensure compliance with the licensing requirements, while collaborating closely with our key vendors and partners.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES & SCOPE

• Design, implement, monitor, and improve IT asset management, including hardware, software, and licenses leveraging state-of-the art tooling and technologies
• Develop and implement asset management policies, procedures, and standards
• Ensure accuracy of asset inventory through audits and regular updates
• Generate reports on asset status, utilization, and compliance for management review
• Implement automation and tools to enhance efficiency and accuracy in asset tracking and reporting
• Conduct license audits/analyses, to identify and understand the enhancement potentials, unused licenses, additional license needs etc.
• Maintain and monitor the licenses for our software and application services and ensure compliance with the licensing requirements
• Support renewals and negotiations with our key vendors and partners
• Define license management standards and policies on a strategic and tactical level based on best practices and industry trends
• Provide day-to-day operational support and maintenance responding to related inquiries
• Support service desk operations related to asset and license management
• Serve as subject matter expert on software licensing issues, providing guidance and recommendations to stakeholders across the organization
• Stay updated on industry trends, licensing models, and regulatory changes that may impact software license management practices.

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE & KNOWLEDGE

• Minimum of 12 years of proven experience in IT asset/ license management, IT vendor management, problem & incident management, knowledge management, stakeholder management and training etc.
• Deep knowledge of IT asset and license management practices and tools (e.g. ServiceNow, Microsoft SCCM)
• Independent and self-driven personality, taking responsibility and owning tasks
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills and structured way of working
• Good written and verbal communication skills, being able to communicate problems to non-technical audiences
