Urgently hiring for

The highway draughtsman should have experience in drafting National Highways and State Highways projects as per the IRC, IS and other relevant codal provisions. He should have experience in Road, Bridge work, plan and profile preparation for at least 2 or 3 more projects from the inception to completion. Also, he should be well versed in Layout settings & printing. The knowledge of LAP is also an added qualification.

Qualification : BE/ Diploma (Civil)/ I.T.I

Experience ; 4 to 6 years

Location : Chennai (Tambaram)

Responsibilities

Create technical drawings: Use CAD software to create 2D drawings for the infrastructure in highways

Develop design standards: Ensure that drafting meets industry standards and regulations and also as per the IRC and IS standards.

Collaborate with other professionals: Work with site engineers, field inputs to exchange ideas and receive feedback

Collect data: Gather information from designers, engineers and surveyors

Make calculations: Determine the quantity calculations for the materials for the project

Meet deadlines: Ensure that projects are completed on time.

Proficiency in CAD software

Strong knowledge of surveying

Knowledge all highway design standards for the drafting

Good math skills

Strong attention to detail

Strong communication skills

Ability to meet deadlines

Understanding of survey processes

Software Skills : AutoCAD, Road Estimator, Total Station, Auto levels, MS-Office
