Job description

• In- charge with the use and recording of the major survey instrument utilized in the field
• Organizing and maintaining field survey our teams
• Providing data for monthly progress report in connection with contractors claims for payment
• Establishment of horizontal and vertical control points for fixed reference
• Topographical surveying by tachometric process & height & level process
• Plan & profile design as per site condition
• Road alignment design as per site condition
• Contour drawings preparation
• Proper layout and Topography as per given condition
• Prepare or supervise preparation of all data, charts, plots, maps, records, and documents related to surveys.
• Plan and conduct ground surveys designed to establish baselines, elevations, and other geodetic measurements, knowledge of BM, TBM, CP etc
• Determine longitudes and latitudes of important features and boundaries in survey areas, using theodolites, transits, levels, and satellite-based global positioning systems (GPS).
• Analyze survey objectives and specifications in order to prepare survey proposals or to direct others in survey proposal preparation.
• Direct aerial surveys of specified geographical areas.
• Calculation of coordinate and bearing, staff reading, check drawings

Qualification and requirement of Skills

• Diploma in civil
• Autocad2D &3D
• Basic MS- Excel Knowledge
• Should know survey software like Estimator
• He should have good hands on Autolevel, total station of dumpy level
• He should have worked in road project for at least years
• He should have knowledge of structure works like VUP, PUP, Bridges ( major& minor)
• He should know the preparation of BOQ ( only quantities), pretender quantity finding & estimation works
• He should know the crossection drawings preparation
• He should able to establish all levels falling under highway work
