Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and autonomousElectrical Design Engineer specializing in Power Systems. The ideal candidatewill be capable of handling projects independently, requiring minimal knowledgetransfer. This role involves leading the design, development, andimplementation of complex electrical power systems, ensuring high performance,reliability, and compliance with industry standards.

You are expected to do :

Manage the complete lifecycle of electrical powersystem projects with minimal supervision. This includes project planning,execution, monitoring, and closing.

Develop detailed electrical designs for power systems,including schematics, wiring diagrams, and layout drawings. Conduct systemmodelling and simulations to validate design choices.

Provide expert-level technical support andtroubleshooting for complex electrical issues during design, installation, andoperational phases.

Ensure all designs adhere to relevant industrystandards, codes, and regulations (e.g., IEEE, NEC, IEC). Implement safetymeasures and conduct risk assessments.

Prepare comprehensive technical documentation,including specifications, reports, and user manuals. Communicate effectivelywith stakeholders and clients.

Requirements

Youwill be a great fit if you have:

4 - 8 years of relevant work experience with B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering.
Experiencein designing SLD/3-lines/control schematics , Electrical control panels,MV Switchgear Panels, Substations, MCC and PCCpanels etc.
Soundknowledge in Breaker sizing, Cable sizing, Busbar sizing, cable routingetc.
Handson experience with NFPA, NEC, NEMA and UL standards-Preferred.
Experiencein electrical component selection and BOM preparation.
Knowledge of various protection schemes.
Working experience insoftware\u2019s like AUTO CAD (Mandatory ).
