What would you do?
We help clients address quality and productivity issues, keep pace with customer expectations, navigate regulatory and operational pressures and ensure business sustainability by transforming their banking operations into an agile, resilient operating model.The Corporate banking /Wholesale banking team is responsible for helping clients and organizations processes trade finance transactions by providing superior service delivery to trade customers whilst safeguarding the bank from risks associated with this business.In Retail Banking Account Operations, you will perform account maintenance services, account closure, deceased customer processing and US legal order processing.

What are we looking for?
?Oversee and manage the day-to-day Payment operations (Direct Debit Indemnities, CHAPS & International Payments, Cheque Operations, BACS & Faster Payment Exceptions), ensuring efficient and customer-centric services.?Strong domain knowledge on Sanctions Screening and FTR (Financial Transaction Report)?Sound understanding in international payment and clearing process (BACS and CHAPS)?Expertise in Payment systems and Mechanisms and good understanding of Payment products Cheque processing, Cross Border Payments, Payment Exceptions?Review electronic payments, payment investigations and reconciliations.?Develop and implement strategies to enhance customer experience, increase market share, and achieve revenue targets.?Collaborate with senior management to establish operational goals, policies, and procedures that align with the overall business objectives.?Ensure compliance with banking regulations, policies, and guidelines in payment banking operations.?Drive the development and implementation of new payment products, services, and digital solutions to meet customer needs and market demands.?Analyze market trends, customer behaviors, and competitive landscape to identify business opportunities and drive innovation?Bachelor's / Master's degree in business administration, finance, or a related field (preferred).?Extensive experience (15+ Years) in Payment Operations, or a related role within the financial industry.?Strong knowledge of Payment products, services, and operationsoDirect Debit Indemnities - oCHAPS (Clearing House Automated Payment System - high-value, bank-to-bank payment system) & International PaymentsoCheque Payments Digital ExceptionoSanctions Screening and FTR (Financial Transaction Report)oBACS & Faster Payment Exceptions?Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams, drive results, and manage change.?Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a strategic mindset.?Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.?Strong understanding of Payment regulations (Bankers Automated Clearing Services (BACS), Payment Service Regulations (PSR), compliance requirements, and risk management practices.?Demonstrated ability to adapt to changing market conditions and effectively lead in a dynamic business environment.?Proficiency in using banking software and technology platforms.
