This role reports to the Regional Finance Planning & Analysis Manager and is critical in terms of managing finance reporting for India and monitoring and controlling of cost. This role is also responsible to manage the strategic piece of Asia.
Key responsibilities include:
Accurate & timely reports with detailed variance explanations to India biz as per defined frequency i.e weekly, fortnightly & monthly. Ensuring meetings with key stakeholders & follow thru on the action points.
Accurate & timely reports with detailed variance explanations to Luton (European Region-EMEA HQ) & to Denver (Ball US HQ).
Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) function wise to monitor business performance & follow through on action points.
Run the entire AOP & Forecasting process in co-ordination with key stakeholders including organizing meetings and ensure reports are submitted in time & accurately after alignment.
EVA analysis on inventory holding for customer & also help Plant/IBP/Procurement in EVA analysis for any initiatives. Also take lead and drive projects with Sales/IBP/Procurement which generates EVA.
Ensure liaison with Regional Commercial Finance analyst & Local FP&A to get a good understanding of customer profile, commercial pricing and costing at a region level.
Assist in integration of EMEA strategic files to Asia & preparation of customer profitability analysis as & when required.
Support customer bids, analyse market trends, competitive landscape, and industry developments to support key stakeholders in strategic decision-making competition analysis
Independently manage the Monthly Reporting Process for India with co-ordination with all stakeholders i.e Plants, SCM, HR etc & sending MIS reports for EMEA/Denver and ensure minimum scores > 90 monthly in terms of accuracy & timeliness of reports.
Manage the Annual Plans and Forecasts, schedule meetings & alignment with all stakeholders and final reports in time to EMEA/Denver & monthly reporting, explanations of variances.
Support various stakeholders like IBP, Procurement & Plant for Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and EVA analysis on various initiatives and monitor these projects for actual savings aligning with the intended benefits based on which the approvals were taken.
Manage the strategic part of Asia FP&A and ensure timely preparation of customer profitability analysis in line with EMEA process, discussions (meetings with key stakeholders) & circulation of strategic files to Regional Stakeholders & EMEA team with detailed analysis.
What are we looking for?
CA/CMA qualified with minimum 3 years post qualification experience in similar function in a manufacturing set up.
Experience of a manufacturing environment preferred.
Strong interpersonal skills to manage information with different stakeholders.
Strong report composition skills.
Advanced SAP and Excel skills.
Fluent in both written and spoken English.
