Job Purpose  
To safeguard and protect the reputation of BFL and its subsidiaries across the target markets.    

Duties and Responsibilities  
To maintain, nurture and build good relations with media houses and journalist fraternities across the
target market.

To essentially work towards building positive image of BFL and its subsidiary brands.

Write press releases, press statements, advisories, for senior management / businesses.

Create, maintain and update the database of key journalists across target markets

Undertake regular media visits to target market for understanding the media pulse and gathering ground intelligence.

Travel to target locations at the time of a crisis to ensure minimal damage to the brand

Maintain and update trackers periodically, create decks and presentations to exhibit the work
carried out in target areas    

Required Qualifications and Experience  
Journalism or experience of having worked in a PR agency is must.
Preferably the candidate should have handled NBFC/ Banking clients in agency or
worked as part of a corporate communications team.
Must be willing to travel to target markets whenever required.
Should be able to communicate fluently in Tamil and English.
S/he should be a graduate in any stream and journalism degree will be an added advantage.

A minimum of 10 years of work experience is a must. PR agency / Corporate
Communications background will be considered an advantage.
