Job Role & Responsibilities
Role: New Color & Graphics Paint, coating materials development
Responsibilities:
" Planning of Surface Treatment process for new models: Development of the colors, styling finishes and special coatings as per released C&G scheme
Development of new type of Surface Engineering technologies to modify the surface properties to meet the Aesthetic & functional properties
Development of new types of coating materials for effective cost reduction than benchmark in the industry
Development of Eco-friendly materials and compliant with REACH, ELV and other regulations
Development of techniques to apply graphics with automation and fool-proofing
Reduction in development and procurement lead time for the paint development especially for low volume / stranger paints"

Knowledge of Paint manufacturing and raw material input
Knowledge of Eco-friendly surface treatment process and materials
Knowledge of printing techniques / graphic transfer
Knowledge about paint testing & validation
Knowledge about ST process qualification / validations
Knowledge about specifications like Qualicoat, Standards of ASTM, JIS and ISO standards for coating material testing
Process review & upgradation of the process.
PFMEA DRBFM PRBFM should be able to understand the key areas of process
Soft Skill set:
Excel, Power Point, SAP, Team Centre, English fluency"
