Audit - Underwriting

Role & responsibilities

Assist in implementing underwriting standard operations procedures of the Company.

• Assist in implementing and monitoring of risk that is booked is as per the underwriting policy.
• Co-ordinate with internal departments such Internal / External Auditors, Underwriting, Operations, Change management, IT, Risk, Audit to gather relevant data points and prepare control reports and dashboards.
• Ensure gaps identified in audits / control reports are tracked for implementation and closure
• Ensure all the process and guidelines are aligned to regulatory framework, and any changes proposed are implemented within the agreed timelines
• Brainstorm with departments and come up with action points of improvement areas and implementing those actionable within timelines
