We are currently seeking an experienced M&A and FP&A Specialist to assist our client in navigating the complexities of a business sale, with a primary focus on ensuring financial clarity and strategic insights.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Analysis & Reporting:

o Conduct detailed analysis of the clients books of accounts, including General Ledger (GL) reporting.

• Perform inventory audits and Accounts Payable/Receivable (AP/AR) reconciliation.
• Identify discrepancies and document corrective processes.

2. M&A Support:

o Assist with valuation and financial analysis to support the business sale process.

• Prepare detailed reports and insights to aid in decision-making.
• Work collaboratively with the clients team to streamline operations and align financial reporting with M&A objectives.

3. Process Improvement:

o Evaluate current accounting systems and processes, recommending improvements to enhance efficiency.

• Document and implement best practices for financial management and reporting.

4. Collaboration & Advisory:

• Work closely with the client's accountant to identify and address issues proactively.
• Take over specific weekly or monthly tasks if needed, while ensuring a seamless transition.
• Act as a liaison between the clients team and stakeholders to address concerns and drive financial clarity.

Key Qualifications:

• Educational Background: Bachelors/Masters degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. • Experience: Proven experience in FP&A, M&A, or related financial roles.

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, GL reporting, and reconciliation processes.
• Hands-on expertise in QuickBooks (good to have) and advanced Excel skills.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with clients and their teams.
• Ability to adapt quickly to dynamic and evolving requirements.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with valuation, due diligence, or financial modeling.

• Exposure to CRM tools and related activities is a plus.
