Bakery Chef

Role & responsibilities

• Should have knowledge of all the cold session of the bakery department
• Prepare breads and pastries, including preparing doughs and fillings, proofing, baking, and decorating as appropriate.
• Safely and appropriately use baking and measuring tools/equipment/appliances to prepare baked foods
• Review Production sheet to understand variety of baked goods to be produced daily.
• To Monitor stock movement and be responsible for requisitioning items for your station, acceptance and storage of deliveries
• Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverage
• Weigh out precise amount of baking ingredients using scales or graduated containers
• Decorate baked products by applying icings, toppings and glaze to achieve a finished appearance
• Should have the Knowledge of Cake decoration

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelors Degree or diploma in Culinary Arts or related Field
• Minimum 3 Years of Experience
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure, not compromising on the quality.
