Senior BI Developer

We are looking for an experienced BI Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Power BI development and its internals, as well as solid programming skills in SQL and Python. If you are passionate about data visualization, possess a strong understanding of databases, and have a knack for solving complex data challenges, we would love to meet you.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, design, and optimize Power BI dashboards and reports to provide meaningful insights.
• Understand and utilize Power BI internals for performance optimization, data modeling, and advanced analytics.
• Write and optimize SQL queries to extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various databases.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their data needs and translate them into technical specifications and visualizations.
• Integrate Python scripts where necessary to enhance data processing, analysis, and reporting within Power BI or standalone.
• Perform data analysis and work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
• Troubleshoot and resolve Power BI issues related to data refreshes, modeling, and performance.

Must-Have Skills:

• Proven experience as a Power BI Developer with hands-on experience in dashboard creation, DAX, and Power Query.
• In-depth knowledge of Power BI internals, including report optimization, performance tuning, and security.
• Strong proficiency in SQL for data manipulation, ETL processes, and database interaction.
• Solid understanding of relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and the ability to work with complex data models.
• Programming knowledge in Python to complement Power BI and handle advanced analytics or custom visualizations.

Good to Have:

• Certifications in Power BI, SQL, databases, or Python.
• Knowledge of other data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau) and data integration tools.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment
