DMI - Senior BI Engineer - R/Python (4-6 yrs)

Job Description :

Duties and Responsibilities :

- Lead the advanced analytics wing for the Product and Business team, providing data-driven insights for high-impact decisions focused on customer and merchant experience improvement initiatives.

- Work with an innovative team to analyze multi-dimensional, high-depth data and build complex data models.

- Roll up your sleeves, innovate, and quickly become a subject matter expert to assess business performance across sellers and market segments.

- Be a self-starter willing to work hands-on in a fast-paced environment, comfortable with ambiguity and large data sets.

- Collaborate with stakeholders, Data Engineers, Business Intelligence Engineers, and Business Analysts as part of the Central Analytics team to achieve goals.

- Translate data-driven findings into actionable insights with strong communication skills.

- Demonstrate proficiency in SQL across various databases, BI tools, and languages like R or Python for analyzing large data sets.

Key Responsibilities :

- Work passionately with large datasets, bringing them together to answer key business questions.

- Have deep expertise in the creation and management of datasets.

- Implement and operate stable, scalable data flow solutions from production systems into end-user applications and reports, ensuring they are fault-tolerant, self-healing, and adaptive.

- Develop and define key business questions in collaboration with business owners, building datasets that provide actionable answers.
