What will you Do

Responsible for the Company s tax compliance, tax planning, accounting for income taxes and preparation of tax returns both indirect as well as direct taxes

Responsible for devising, implementing and overseeing the tax plan for a better structured business .

Responsible for handling litigation/assessments at various levels in income tax and GST

Liaising with third party professionals including solicitors, other accountant, tax advisers and independent financial advisers

Manage and mentor members of accounts & finance team to greater levels of effectiveness and engagement.

Provide support with various internal audits and special tax related projects.

Advising on bespoke tax planning, implementation of tax planning arrangements

Managing the Direct (such as Corporate Income Tax) and all Indirect (GST) tax matters for the organization.

Recommending improvements to tax related systems and Identifying areas to reduce tax exposure

• Forecasting tax Liabilities

What makes you a Great Fit

CA/Post Graduate/Graduate with 10 to 12 years of experience, Preferred 4-5 year Mutual Fund, AIF industry experience

Strong accounting, analytical, and research skills.

Ability to work well independently as well as the ability to work well with stakeholders and communicate the benefits of tax initiatives.

Excellent written and oral communication skills

Strong knowledge of tax code, compliance and procedures for corporations.

Strong experience with a variety of tax operations and ability to drive process improvements.

Strong ability to utilize project management and accounting best practices to organize and prioritize tasks and the tasks of other tax team members. Strong management and leadership skills.

Able to work well within a team.
