Senior Lead - Data Architecture (12-18 yrs)

We are seeking a Senior Leader - Data Architecture to drive the strategy, design, and implementation of scalable and highly available AWS/GCP cloud solutions. This role requires a dynamic leader with a strong technical background in cloud architecture, data engineering, and infrastructure to lead a team of architects, data scientists, product managers, and engineering professionals. The ideal candidate will collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs, ensure alignment with best practices, and troubleshoot complex cloud infrastructure challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership & Team Management :

- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of data architects, data scientists, product managers, and engineers.

- Define the vision, strategy, and roadmap for data architecture and cloud infrastructure.

- Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning within the team.

Cloud Architecture & Implementation :

- Design and implement scalable, secure, and highly available AWS cloud solutions.

- Develop best practices for cloud infrastructure, data pipelines, and storage optimization.

- Ensure data solutions are aligned with business needs, compliance standards, and security policies.

Stakeholder Collaboration & Business Alignment :

- Work closely with executives, business leaders, and IT teams to define data strategies.

- Translate business requirements into technical solutions that maximize value.

- Advocate for modern data architectures, cloud best practices, and emerging technologies.

Technical Problem-Solving & Optimization :

- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical challenges related to cloud infrastructure, performance, and scalability.

- Optimize data workflows, pipelines, and cloud costs for efficiency.

- Ensure high availability, disaster recovery, and data security best practices.

Required Qualifications & Skills :

- 15+ years of experience in data architecture, cloud computing, or related fields.

- Proven leadership experience in managing technical teams.

- Strong expertise in AWS cloud services (EC2, S3, Lambda, Redshift, RDS, Glue, etc.) or GCP.

- Deep knowledge of data architecture, ETL, and data pipeline design.

- Experience with big data technologies (Spark, Hadoop, Kafka, etc.).

- Proficiency in SQL, Python, or other scripting languages for data processing.

- 10+ years of experience in BFSI domain.
