Job Description :

- Minimum 11+ years of work experience specifically in defining solution, application design and development, integration / migration.

- Should have at least 5+ year of experience in GCP (Google Cloud Platform) or Similar Cloud Technologies

- Understanding of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) technologies in the big data and data warehousing space (BigQuery, pub-sub, Dataflow, Data Catalog, Composer, DAG, Airflow, Complex SQL, Stored Procedures) with experience on delivering data architect solutions using Big query, Google data flow, Google pub sub, google cloud SQL, google compute engine, big table.

- Understanding of Big Data technologies and solutions (Spark, Hadoop) and multiple scripting and languages (Java, Python).

- Demonstrable track record of dealing well with ambiguity, prioritizing needs, and delivering results in a dynamic environment.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively advocate technical solutions to engineering teams and business audiences.

- Event-driven cloud platform for cloud services and apps, Data integration for building and managing pipeline.

- Data warehouse running on server less infrastructure, Workflow orchestration using Google Cloud Data Engineering components DataFlow, Data proc, Cloud Functions, Cloud Composer, Big Query, etc

- Must have experience in Devops tools like Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, JIRA, SonarQube, NexusIQ, Checkmarx, Cyberflow.

- Strong data architecture background (data storage, transformation, event processing, APIs, IAM, security).

- Understanding of cloud identity and access Scripting (shell, python, ruby) skills for monitoring.

Job Summary :

We are looking for an experienced Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Architect to design, implement, and manage cloud solutions that meet the organization's or clients' technical and business needs. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of GCP services, cloud architecture best practices, and experience in building scalable, secure, and cost-effective solutions.

This role requires strong leadership, problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to collaborate with diverse stakeholders to deliver high-quality cloud solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Cloud Architecture and Design :

- Design and implement highly scalable, secure, and cost-effective solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

- Define cloud architecture patterns, deployment strategies, and best practices.

- Develop architecture diagrams, technical documentation, and implementation plans.

2. GCP Service Expertise :

- Leverage GCP services such as Compute Engine, Kubernetes Engine (GKE), Cloud Storage, BigQuery, Cloud Functions, Pub/Sub, and Anthos to meet business needs.

- Evaluate and recommend the appropriate GCP tools and services for specific use cases.

3. Deployment and Automation :

- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, Deployment Manager, or CloudFormation.

- Automate deployment pipelines using CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or Cloud Build.

4. Performance and Optimization :

- Monitor and optimize system performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency on GCP.

- Conduct performance benchmarking and capacity planning.

5. Security and Compliance :

- Design solutions that adhere to security best practices and compliance standards such as GDPR, HIPAA, or SOC 2.

- Implement identity and access management (IAM), data encryption, and secure networking on GCP.

6. Collaboration and Leadership :

- Collaborate with development, operations, and data teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.

- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to teams on GCP best practices.

7. Troubleshooting and Support :

- Troubleshoot and resolve cloud infrastructure issues.

- Provide post-implementation support and maintenance for GCP solutions.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

- 5+ years of experience in cloud architecture with at least 2 years on GCP.

- Strong knowledge of GCP services, including compute, storage, networking, security, and data analytics.

- Proficiency with IaC tools like Terraform, Deployment Manager, or Ansible.

- Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes (GKE).

- Strong understanding of networking concepts such as VPC, DNS, and firewalls in GCP.

- Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD tools.

- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Skills :

- Google Cloud Certification, such as Professional Cloud Architect or Professional Data Engineer.

- Experience with hybrid cloud or multi-cloud architectures.

- Knowledge of big data tools like BigQuery, Dataflow, or Dataproc.

- Understanding of Machine Learning and AI services in GCP.

- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools like Stackdriver (Cloud Monitoring and Logging).
