Product Manager

Role:

The Product Manager for EV Chargers will be responsible for the entire product lifecycle of on-board chargers for electric vehicles, from ideation and development to launch and post-launch support. This role requires a strong understanding of the EV market, technical expertise in charger technology, and excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Market Research and Analysis:
  
• Conduct thorough market research to identify customer needs, competitive landscape, and emerging trends in on-board charger technology.
• Analyze market data, customer feedback, and industry reports to define product requirements and prioritize features.
• Stay up-to-date on industry standards, regulations, and safety requirements related to EV charging.
• Product Strategy and Roadmap:
  
• Develop and execute the product strategy and roadmap for on-board chargers, aligning with the company's overall business objectives.
• Define product vision, target market, and value proposition for each on-board charger product.
• Prioritize product development initiatives based on market demand, technical feasibility, and business impact.
• Product Development and Launch:
  
• Collaborate with engineering, design, and manufacturing teams to develop new on-board charger products.
• Define product specifications, features, and performance requirements.
• Manage the product development lifecycle, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
• Develop go-to-market strategies, including product positioning, messaging, and launch plans.
• Product Lifecycle Management:
  
• Monitor product performance, customer feedback, and market trends to identify areas for improvement.
• Manage product updates, enhancements, and end-of-life strategies.
• Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to promote on-board chargers and drive sales growth.
• Stakeholder Management:
  
• Work closely with internal stakeholders, including engineering, sales, marketing, and customer support teams.
• Communicate product vision, strategy, and roadmap effectively to all stakeholders.
• Build strong relationships with key customers, partners, and industry influencers.

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Electronics, or related field) or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of experience in product management, preferably in the automotive or electric vehicle industry.
• Strong understanding of EV charger technology, EV charging infrastructure, and battery management systems and other EV Powertrain components and spare parts .
• Proven track record of successfully launching and managing technical products in automotive sector.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
