Procurement Specialist

We are currently looking for a Procurement Specialist to join us at our facility in Gurugram.

Key responsibilities:

• Execute the buy process (PR to PO) for Indirect goods & services: request quotations, award and submit purchase orders.
• Create and maintain purchasing documents in Axalta s systems.
• Payment problems resolution (investigation and improvement).
• Vendor Master management: create, maintain and approve suppliers in Axalta s systems.
• Monitor and execute all transactions according to Axalta s internal controls and policies (Buy-Release-Receipt-Pay).
• Communicate and coordinate actions among all internal and external stake-holders to effectively assure supply of goods and services.
• Administration and reporting as necessary (from DP systems and external sources).
• Transactional system and process support to Axalta strategic buying team.
• Liaison with regional and global buying teams, providing information & analytical support in alignment with their goals on portfolio management and savings.
• Drive continuous improvement on the most efficient use of the appropriate sourcing tools.

Key requirements:

• University graduate (College degree) and 3 to 4 years Experience
• Proficient in written and Spoken English. Other European languages will be highly valued.
• Self-driven, results oriented with a positive attitude towards changes and new challenges. Reliable, mature and adaptive person. Able to build rapport with a diverse workforce in multicultural and dynamic work environment. Confident, fast learner and hard worker.
• Availability to work full time, with flexibility to cover time shifts in support of Americas procurement
• Specific Job Skills: good proven communication skills, able to listen, write, and speak effectively.
• Innovative problem-solver who can generate workable solutions and resolve complaints.
• Flexible team player who thrives in environments requiring ability to effectively prioritize and juggle multiple concurrent tasks. High degree of detail orientation.
• Computer-literate performer with basic software knowledge covering a variety of applications, including MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) as well as SAP/Ariba and S4 HANA
• Analytical thinking with demonstrated talent for identifying, scrutinizing, improving, and streamlining simple work processes.
• Basic buying and/ or negotiation skills would be a plus. All business, buying and negotiation knowledge to be developed on the job.
• Resourceful team player who excels at building trusting relationships with customers and colleagues. Capable of working with others to achieve results.
