Job Description

What will your essential responsibilities include

  • Deliver portfolios or sub-portfolios of projects through the matrix management of IT, Security and Business SMEs
  • Be accountable for plans, budgets, risks and quality for the projects in the portfolio
  • Develop and manage program deliverables, including project plans, staffing allocations, budgets, and compliance documentation.
  • Manage vendor project engagements including participating in the creation of SOW and ensuring proper invoice submission.
  • Manage intra-project and cross-project deliverable dependency tracking, risks, issues and decisions.
  • Adherence to project implementation methodology best practices.
  • Develop project communication and team collaboration materials.
  • Align program deliverables with the overall portfolio strategy to maximize the value of investment and drive business transformationYou will report to the Functions Lead for Project Delivery.SHARE your talentWere looking for someone who has these abilities and skills:Required Skills and Abilities:
  • Has recent experience of successfully delivering large and complex programs or portfolios of concurrent projects with accountability for driving large cross-functional teams whilst ensuring alignment with program goals.
  • Manages the aggregate result of separate but related projects, achieving a significant outcome, typically achieving business transformation.
  • Plans, organizes, staffs, and controls program or portfolio execution, scope, and costs.
  • Achieves synergy of individual project deliverables in context of an overall outcome aligned with Program objectives.
  • Communicates effectively with Stakeholders and Influences program- or portfolio-level decisions.
  • Detailed Program Planning, Execution oriented, Analytical, Progress Evaluation, Risk management, Issue Resolution, Critical Path Identification.
  • Knowledge of business strategy and understanding of how that translates into Program deliverablesDesired Skills and Abilities:
  • Collaboration, Influencing, and effective Written / Verbal Communication.
  • Provides effective solutions to problems based on broad experience.
  • Expert ability to provide vision and goals for project team, guide project managers on issue resolution, and provide escalation framework via governance.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate project managers and team members.
  • Strong decision-making skills to guide teams through challenges.
  • Experience in conflict resolution and providing constructive feedback.
  • Ability to develop strategic plans that outline program scope, timelines, and resource allocation
  • Experience in negotiating and influencing to achieve program or portfolio objectives
  • Ability to standardize common methods.
  • PMP Certification (or equivalent) is a plus.
  • Project Management Tool, PPM Tool, Office Suite, Financial Tracking.
