Sales & Revenue Generation:
- Achieve and exceed sales targets within the designated area.
- Monitor store-wise sales performance and implement strategies to maximize revenue.
- Identify and capitalize on opportunities for upselling and cross-selling to boost sales.
- Develop and execute promotional campaigns to drive footfall and sales growth.
Operations & Inventory Management:
- Ensure adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs) across all stores.
- Conduct regular audits to maintain cleanliness, product placement, and operational efficiency.
- Monitor inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability, minimizing wastage and pilferage.
- Oversee the implementation and functionality of IT systems, such as POS and inventory management software.
Customer Service & Compliance:
- Ensure all stores deliver high-quality customer service by promptly addressing complaints and queries.
- Monitor and enhance Net Promoter Score (NPS) across all stores.
- Train staff to professionally offer health advice and product recommendations.
- Ensure compliance with pharmacy licensing laws, ethical practices, and company policies.
Team Management & Development:
- Recruit, train, and retain qualified store managers, pharmacists, and staff.
- Set clear performance goals and KPIs for team members and monitor their progress.
- Conduct regular performance reviews, providing constructive feedback and guidance.
- Motivate and mentor team members to achieve individual and team objectives.
Compliance & Legal Adherence:
- Ensure all stores comply with local drug laws, FDA regulations, and company policies.
- Oversee the timely renewal of licenses and certifications for all outlets.
- Conduct periodic compliance checks for storage, dispensing, and record-keeping guidelines.
Marketing & Partnerships:
- Coordinate with the marketing team to implement region-specific campaigns that drive traffic and sales.
- Ensure consistent branding across all stores, including signage, uniforms, and promotional materials.
- Build and nurture partnerships with local clinics, hospitals, and fitness centers to enhance store visibility and brand recognition.
Financial Management & Cost Control:
- Monitor and control store expenses to meet set budgetary goals.
- Analyze store-wise profitability and suggest corrective measures for underperforming outlets.
- Ensure the timely submission of financial reports and expense claims.
New Store Development:
- Identify potential locations for new stores through market research and feasibility analysis.
- Oversee the end-to-end process for new store launches, including hiring, inventory setup, and marketing efforts.
- Collaborate with the real estate and project teams to ensure timely and efficient completion of new store setups.
Strategic Planning & Reporting:
- Analyze sales trends, customer behavior, and market dynamics to drive strategic decisions and initiatives.
- Prepare and present detailed performance reports to senior management.
- Use data and insights to identify growth opportunities and areas for operational improvement.
Crisis Management & Contingency Planning:
- Respond promptly to emergencies such as supply chain disruptions, regulatory inspections, or customer grievances.
- Develop and implement contingency plans for unforeseen situations to ensure business continuity and minimize operational disruption.
Qualifications:
- Master's/Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in retail pharmacy management, preferably at a regional or multi-unit level.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- In-depth knowledge of pharmacy operations, regulations, and best practices.
- Demonstrated ability to drive sales growth and profitability.
- Experience in team management, training, and development.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
