Procurement Team Lead

Job Summary:
The Procurement Team Lead will be responsible for managing a team of procurement professionals to ensure the efficient and accurate execution of client-related procurement tasks. This role requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and a customer-focused approach to maintain high service standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Team Management:

• Lead, manage, and take accountability for a team of administrators and processors.
• Conduct weekly team meetings to set goals, address challenges, and provide updates.
• Conduct one-on-one meetings with team members weekly to ensure individual performance alignment with team objectives.

Training and Development:

• Train and guide administrators to ensure they possess the required client-specific knowledge.
• Identify training needs and provide coaching to enhance team skills and knowledge.
• Cross-train backup administrators to ensure continuous coverage.

Quality Assurance and Performance Monitoring:

• Perform weekly quality assurance checks on work done by administrators and processors.
• Monitor time tracking in systems like Prohance and NetSuite to ensure compliance.
• Review dashboards and reports, identifying discrepancies and escalating issues as necessary.

Operational Excellence:

• Ensure all processing documents are accurate, updated, and maintained for each client.
• Manage client accounts and ensure all processes adhere to defined standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve both internal and external inquiries efficiently.

Client Engagement and Support:

• Attend client kick-off calls and shadowing sessions to understand their processes and requirements.
• Conduct OrderBahn training for team members as needed.
• Ensure coverage for assigned accounts during team absences and provide backup support as necessary.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Proven experience in procurement, process management, or a related field.
• Strong leadership skills with a track record of managing and developing teams.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Proficiency in tools such as NetSuite, Prohance, and dashboard reporting systems.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to foster collaboration and client relationships.
