AV Presales Manager

Role & responsibilities

Requirement Gathering & Client Consultation

• Engage with clients to understand their AV requirements, technical needs, and business objectives.
• Conduct site surveys and analyse infrastructure to propose the best solutions.
• Provide expert consultation on meeting rooms, auditoriums, digital signage, conferencing, and control systems.

Solution Design & Technical Documentation

• Design custom AV solutions using the latest technologies in audio, video, control systems, and networking.
• Prepare technical drawings, schematics, BOQs (Bill of Quantities), and scope of work (SOW).
• Ensure solutions are scalable, cost-effective, and aligned with industry standards.

Sales & Client Support

• Work closely with the sales team to support them in technical discussions with clients.
• Conduct product demonstrations, technical presentations, and proof-of-concept setups.
• Address client queries and modify proposals based on feedback.

Proposal & Cost Estimation

• Prepare detailed project proposals, including system design, pricing, and implementation plans.
• Assist in tender/RFP responses, ensuring all client specifications are met.
• Provide cost-benefit analysis and justify the ROI of the proposed solution.

Vendor & Partner Coordination

• Liaise with manufacturers, distributors, and vendors to get the latest product information and pricing.
• Stay updated on the latest AV technologies and industry trends.
• Recommend the best equipment and solutions based on performance and budget.

Handover & Support

• Ensure a smooth transition from presales to the project execution team.
• Provide technical support during the initial phase of project implementation.
• Train internal teams and sales personnel on new AV solutions.
