DesIDEA Software Technologies - Automation Test Engineer - C#/Java (4-5 yrs)

Job Description :

Seeking highly-skilled test automation engineer to design and execute automation Test Scripts using Selenium Automation Tool with JAVA and C #.

The successful applicant should possess a deep understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC) and have a keen eye for detail to identify potential issues that could impact user experience.

Key Responsibilities :

- Understand functional and technical specifications of the systems and define suitable automation test strategy.

- Design suitable test automation frame work using Selenium with JAVA and C# languages.

- Analyse requirements and create test scenarios and automated test scripts for regression testing

- Identify, analyse, and document the issues/defects with program function, output, online screen, or content.

- Report and track the defects till they closed.

- Coordinate with development teams and business users during defect resolution.

- Provide feedback and recommendations to developers on software usability and functionality

- Integrate automated test scripts in CI/CD pipeline and execute them automatically for every deployment/release.

- Maintain the automated test scripts for each release to validate the functional changes of the systems.

- Able to perform front end and back end testing

- Guide and help the junior automated test engineers while creating and executing the test scripts.

- Publish daily/weekly status reports to stake holders.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

- B. Tech in Computer Science or matching degree.

- 4 -5 years of hands on (real time) experience in Selenium with JAVA and C #

- Experience in UTF is an advantage

- SQL Queries

- Strong understanding on SDLC

- Experience in Agile methodologies

- Experience in JIRA

- Knowledge in .Net applications

- Knowledge in relational data bases

- Strong communication (written and verbal) skills in English
