Job Description :

Key Responsibilities :

Test Planning and Strategy :

- Develop detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on functional and non-functional requirements.

- Define and implement testing strategies to ensure optimal product quality.

Test Execution :

- Perform manual and automated testing for various applications, including functional, integration, system, regression, and performance testing.

- Ensure test coverage aligns with project requirements and objectives.

Bug Tracking and Reporting :

- Identify, document, and track defects using tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar platforms.

- Collaborate with development teams to prioritize and resolve issues.

Automation and Optimization :

- Design and maintain test automation frameworks for efficiency and scalability.

- Develop and execute automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, TestNG, or similar technologies.

Key Skills and Qualifications :

Education : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Experience :

- 5-7 years of professional experience in software testing.

- Proven expertise in manual and automated testing.

Technical Proficiency :

- Strong knowledge of test management tools (e., JIRA, TestRail).

- Hands-on experience with test automation tools (e., Selenium, Appium, Postman, JMeter).

- Familiarity with programming/scripting languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.

- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins or Azure DevOps.

Soft Skills :

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.

- Detail-oriented with a passion for delivering high-quality products.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with API testing and tools like Postman or SoapUI.

- Knowledge of performance testing tools (e., LoadRunner, Gatling).

- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and frameworks like Scrum or Kanban.
