Locobuzz - Lead Quality Assurance Engineer - Automation Testing (5-8 yrs)

Position : Lead QA.

Location : Sakinaka, Andheri East.

Position Overview : The QA Lead ensures high-quality product delivery by leading the QA team, developing test strategies, and managing testing processes.

This role involves mentoring, collaborating with teams, optimizing automation, and driving continuous improvements.

Expertise in QA tools, automation frameworks, and agile practices is essential.

Key Responsibilities :

- Team Leadership : Guide and mentor QA team members, ensuring efficient task allocation and skill enhancement.

- Test Strategy & Planning : Develop and implement comprehensive test plans and strategies for all phases of testing.

- Quality Assurance Execution : Oversee manual and automated test case execution to identify and resolve defects.

- Collaboration : Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with project goals and requirements.

- Automation : Drive the adoption and optimization of test automation tools and frameworks.

- Reporting : Provide detailed QA reports, track key metrics, and suggest process improvements.

- Risk Management : Identify testing risks and implement mitigation strategies to ensure timely project delivery.

- Technical Expertise : Proficient in QA tools, automation frameworks, and bug tracking systems with a solid understanding of agile practices.

Requirements :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

- 5+ years in QA, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.

- Expertise in QA methodologies, test automation tools (e.g, Selenium, Cypress), and bug tracking systems (e.g, JIRA, Clickup).

- Familiarity with agile and scrum methodologies; experience in CI/CD pipelines.

- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.

- ISTQB or equivalent certification is a plus.
