Desktop Support Engineer

1. Diagnose and resolve hardware issues on desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, and mobile devices.
2. Provide Level 1 and Level 2 technical support for software and operating systems such as Windows, macOS, Linux, and common enterprise applications.
3. Respond to service desk tickets and ensure timely resolution within SLA guidelines.
4. Install, configure, and upgrade desktop and laptop operating systems and software applications.
5. Manage and maintain inventory of IT assets and peripherals.
6. Perform data backups and recovery tasks when required.
7. Troubleshoot basic networking issues, including LAN, WAN, VPN, Wi-Fi, and IP configuration.
8. Assist with installation and troubleshooting of network printers and shared resources.
9. Collaborate with network and systems teams for escalated network-related issues.
10. Maintain accurate records of all IT incidents and resolutions.
11. Document configurations, procedures, and FAQs for end-users and IT staff.
12. Generate periodic reports on ticket resolution times, trends, and user feedback.
13. Provide excellent customer service by maintaining a professional demeanor and effective communication.
14. Educate users on best practices for system use and IT security.
15. Enforce compliance with IT policies and procedures, including password policies and acceptable use guidelines.
16. Install, configure, and update antivirus and endpoint protection solutions.
17. Report potential security risks and participate in preventive actions.

Note- The drive timings are from 10 am to 12 pm, anybody coming after 12 pm will not be allowed to attend the interview. Also do not carry your personal laptop
