Research Associate - Murine Cell Therapy

M.Sc./MTech in Biotechnology with 3-8 years of relevant experience in academia and/or industry

Roles & Responsibilities

• Candidate must be proficient in processing and characterization of fresh murine or human PBMC as well as tumor samples. Prior experience with primary cells and cell lines in immunology or immuno-oncology context is critical.
• Demonstrated experience with processing & analysis of immune/ tumor cells, use of pre-clinical mouse models, lentiviral transduction, immunocompromised mice and cell line xenograft models of human cancer will be considered an advantage.
• Must be well-versed in analysis of blood and tissue samples using flow cytometry, cell-based assay development, immunological assays, real-time PCR, and microbiological assays.
• Should be able to effectively communicate and work closely in a highly matrixed team environment to advance companys cell therapy pipeline.
• highly efficient and organized and have a demonstrated ability to adhere to and follow defined timelines & milestones, while preserving integrity, accuracy, safety, and quality.
• Must be involved in preparation and review of SOPs, protocols, reports, regulatory documents, pertaining to program requirement.
• Understand systems and processes pertaining to BSL-2 sterile practices, work ethics, animal ethics, safety, health, and environment.

Mandatory Competencies:

• immuno-oncology related mice studies on primary cells and tissues
• Multi-colour Flow cytometry & Cell Based Assays Immuno-oncological
• Molecular biology techniques like qPCR and cloning.
• Presentation, Interpersonal & Communication Skills
