Job Description
- We are seeking a skilled and motivated Cloud Engineer with strong expertise in AWS , DevOps practices , and infrastructure management . The ideal candidate will play a key role in designing, implementing, and maintaining robust cloud solutions, ensuring security, scalability, and reliability across our product infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Cloud Infrastructure Design & Management
- Architect and maintain scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure on AWS.
- Optimize cloud resources for cost and performance.
- DevOps Practices
- Implement CI/CD pipelines to automate deployment processes.
- Manage and improve the release process, ensuring smooth and reliable deployments.
- Monitor and troubleshoot issues in a production environment using industry-standard tools.
- Security
- Ensure the security and compliance of cloud systems by implementing best practices and frameworks (e.g., IAM, encryption, network security).
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and apply remediation measures.
- Infrastructure Management
- Build and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
- Maintain system availability, reliability, and performance by monitoring, logging, and alerting mechanisms.
- Plan and execute system upgrades and migrations with minimal downtime.
- Collaboration and Support
- Work closely with product development teams to understand requirements and provide infrastructure solutions.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
Must-Have:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with AWS (e.g., EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, CloudFront).
- Strong expertise in DevOps practices (CI/CD, automation, and orchestration tools like Jenkins, GitLab, or CircleCI).
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
- Advanced knowledge of Linux/Unix systems administration.
- Deep understanding of security best practices, including IAM policies, VPCs, and secure data storage.
Preferred:
- AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect, AWS DevOps Engineer).
- Experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration (EKS, Docker).
- Familiarity with observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog).
- Knowledge of scripting languages (Python, Bash, or similar).
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Proactive approach to improving systems and processes.
